Executive Summary
At Netflix, I successfully led the design team's efforts to expand into key international markets Latin America, the Nordic region, the UK, Canada, Ireland, Korea, and Japan. This period was about expanding Netflix's geographical footprint and venturing into uncharted territories of design and user experience tailored to diverse cultures and preferences.
Designing for a global audience taught me the importance of flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and the power of data-driven design decisions. I was fortunate enough to work with Netflix's excellent design team, which was at the forefront of leveraging the New Netflix Experimentation Platform (Netflix XP) to refine and personalize the viewing experience across different regions. With the help of vast amounts of user data, we were able to pioneer new methods to enhance the user experience.
